Outerbike Moab

STEPS made their way to the third Outerbike event of the year before packing it up for the season in November

Positioned at the Bar M trails, the fall date for Moab Outerbike allows attendees to experience the Red Rocks trails without the heat of summer.  The three-day festival allows attendees to demo bikes from 25 different brands, seven of these brands carrying Shimano Steps equipped E-Bikes in there line up.

For Moab Outerbike, options for riding are endless including Porcupine rim shuttles, Navajo rocks, Mag 7, and single track at Bar M, just to name a few.

Shimano STEPS demo van was on hand to let attendees experience an e-bike for the first time. Or, as we came to find out, a second or third!

Shimano, Reeb, and Jamis all had hosted rides throughout the weekend to hang out/learn new skills with some of their sponsored riders.  REEB cycles had Jeff Lenosky, Jamis Bicycles had Syd and Macky and Shimano had Kyle Warner leading rides

Unique to OuterBike is the Le Mans style start to get into the festival. Attendees line up hours before actual gates open to make sure they get to their favorite bike before anyone else. It is a sight to see everyone running for the different manufactures to line up their ride for the morning.

Outerbike is a consumer demo focused on getting attendees on the latest and greatest bikes available to test ride before they make a purchase for a bike of their own. Founded by Ashely Korenblat & Mark Sevenoff of Moab, Utah, the event has expanded from one to four events in 2019, and will look to expand even more in 2020. Look up future events here:
