Display your way. With Shimano STEPS you can choose a 2.7” bar-mounted display with a sleek design and slick functions, opt for the EW-EN100 junction for a simple and small LED light display, or you can use the E-TUBE ride app and have all the features displayed on your phone. You can even customise your display settings to suit your riding.
Scrolling through data is very easy. You have two options: either push the middle button on your left switch unit or push the function button on the display.
To access the settings menu either hold down the middle button on the left switch unit, or the function button on the display. Alternatively, hold down the top and bottom button on the left switch unit simultaneously. To navigate through the settings menu, press the top or bottom buttons on the left switch unit. To enter a menu setting, press the middle button on the left switch unit or the function button on the display.
Press the middle button on the left switch unit or the function button on the display to scroll through to the range display. Here you will see the remaining distance in your current support mode. Hold down the button to see the distances for all support modes.
Firstly, enter the menu by either holding down the function key on the display unit or the top and bottom buttons simultaneously on the left switch unit. Navigate to the ‘beep’ item, select by pressing the function button, and then select ‘on’ or ‘off’.
It’s easy to see all eight travelling data options, you simply scroll through by pressing the function button on the display unit.
You can either press and hold the function button, or simultaneously press the top and button buttons on the switch unit, to enter the settings menu. Use top and bottom buttons to scroll through and the function button to select.
When you want to see the remaining distance for your current support mode, scroll through to ‘range’ on your travelling data display. Scroll through the support modes on the switch unit to see the range per mode.
Hold down the function button on the display - or simultaneously press the top and button buttons on the switch unit - to access the settings menu. Navigate to and select the ‘beep’ item, then select ‘on’ or ‘off’.
For extra security of your display unit you must first loosen the clamp bolts and then twist the bracket up and away from the stem. Then slot the square nut into the bracket, thread the mounting bolt through and tighten. Return the bracket to its original position and tighten the clamp. Finally, slide the computer onto the bracket. You’ll need to insert firmly until you hear a click.
Your display unit cannot now be easily removed from your bike which is perfect if you need to leave it unattended for a while.
If a display screen on your bike is not what you want, the EW-EN100 provides a small, simple display with just the essential information.
The upper LED light displays the battery status and the lower LED light displays the assist mode. Push the button to change the assist mode; no light means assist mode is off, blue light means eco, green is normal and yellow is high.
