Knowledge is power! The EP8 display gives you easy to reach and simple to understand data which means you can get the most out of your ride. Read on to find out how to access and display ride information, and how not to get caught short!
It’s simple and intuitive to use the settings menu. To access the menu, either press and hold the function button on the display or both the top and bottom buttons on the switch unit. To scroll through the menu, use the top or bottom button on the switch unit and then press the function button on the display to enter the menu item.
There are nine travelling data options for you to display, including your range, average speed and the time. To scroll through each screen, just press the function button on the display.
In order to see the maximum travelling distance remaining, scroll through your travelling data screens by pressing the function button on the display until you see the RANGE. Pressing the top or bottom button on the switch unit will scroll through the distances remaining for BOOST, TRAIL and ECO support modes.
There are two ways to reset the travelling distance.
Number one: scroll through the data screens by pressing the function button on your display until you see the travelling distance (DST). Press and hold the function button until the travelling distance number flashes, and then press again to confirm the reset.
Number two: enter the settings menu by either pressing down the function button on the display or both buttons on the switch unit. Navigate to the CLEAR menu item and press the function button to select. Next, select the DST option and then select OK by pressing the function button.
Don’t forget, resetting the travelling distance will also reset your travelling time, average speed and maximum speed.
As you can see, lots of data doesn’t have to be mind-boggling. The EP8 display gives you useful information in a simple format, enabling you to navigate the technology, as well as the terrain, with ease.
